Next door is Adventure Okehampton with over 20 activities to enjoy. The beautifully rugged Dartmoor is virtually on your doorstep and is a haven for walkers and nature lovers. Given the easy access to the A30 you are also well-placed to enjoy the popular tourist destinations and seaside towns of the south coast to the unspoilt fishing villages scattered across the north. The picturesque cathedral city of Exeter is a short drive away and The Eden Project 1 hour by car. Leisure facilities: lovely Canadian cedar wood hot tub in pretty secluded setting available for guests to use on an open-use basis . Amenities: private off-road parking for 1 car. Bed linen towels electric central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking inside the property. 2 small or 1 medium sized dog welcome (please kindly ensure that they are kept out of the bedroom). Additional info: there is no cot or high chair at the property however guests are welcome to bring their own. Location: selection of pubs shops and eateries within walking distance. Arrival: 5pm. Ground floor apartment with the accommodation arranged over one level and offering ONE bedroom: king-size with feature fireplace (non-working). Shower room: with WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: with feature original fireplace with coal effect gas fire TV and DVD. Kitchen area with oven and hob fridge/freezer and microwave. Regret no washing machine. Outside: enclosed tiered cottage garden with patio area with garden furniture small unfenced ornamental point and use of hot-hub. Disposable BBQs can be provided upon request.

Okehampton is a town in Devon, England, on the north of Dartmoor. Being Saxon in origin it originally grew on the medieval wool trade. It is located not far from Belstone, Exbourne, Inwardleigh, and Sampford Courtenay and is one over three hundred towns or villages in Devon in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest designated cities are Exeter (population 106,772), Plymouth (population 243,795), and Truro (which has a population of 20,920 according to the 2001 Census).
With some interesting sights in the town and itself, and Dartmoor begging to be explored just to the south, a visit to Okehampton is highly recommended as a base for exploring this part of Devon's landscape.
